Unfortunately, there is no set cost for a survey.  Even some of the smallest properties can be problematic and cost more to survey than a large tract of land.  Information on previous survey work done in the area of your land provides the framework from which to complete your survey.  The estimate provided to you is based on the time it will take to complete the title and survey research, the field work and the computer calculations & drafting.

Keatley Surveying Ltd. owns the survey records for the Manitoulin Island from every surveyor to have an office located on the Island in the past century.  From these records we have prior knowledge of almost every survey monument planted on the Manitoulin and can provide very accurate estimates for almost any job very quickly.
